Using these products does not generate much heat, which prevents chemical wear. This allows for a longer service life for the high hardness diamond grain. Only apply light pressure to the file, especially when using on workpiece edges.

Loaded diamond files can be cleaned in kerosene or anti-static plastic cleaner with a file brush. Alternatively, ultrasonic cleaning is also possible. Often, knocking the file against a hard object is sufficient.
